  • Overview

    Improper manual handling is one of the most common causes of workplace injuries across hazardous industries. This Manual Handling Awareness course equips learners with the essential knowledge needed to identify risks, apply safe lifting techniques, and carry out tasks with confidence and care. 

    This course introduces the fundamental principles of manual handling, equipping workers with the knowledge to work safely and responsibly within hazardous industries.

    By the end of the course, participants will be able to recognise relevant legislation, behavioural safety, spinal anatomy, posture and the importance of effectively planning manual handling tasks.

  • Assessment & certification

    This Manual Handling Awareness training course ends with a 10-question multiple choice assessment with downloadable certificate. 

    User certificates, training progress, and results are all stored centrally in your LMS and can be accessed any time to reprint certificates, check and set pass marks, and act as proof of a commitment to ongoing legal compliance.

  • What does my certificate include?

    Your Manual Handling Awareness training certificate includes your name, company name (if applicable), name of course taken, pass percentage, date of completion, expiry date and stamps of approval or accreditations by recognised authorities. 

    Note: If using SCORM delivery via a third-party LMS, certification will need to be generated within your host LMS.
