Overview
Construction is one of the most hazardous industries in the UK, with a significant proportion of workplace fatalities occurring on construction sites each year. The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) were introduced to improve health and safety across all stages of construction projects, from initial design through to completion.
This CDM Awareness course provides learners with a clear understanding of the regulations, including when they apply, who is responsible and how risks should be managed. It explores the roles of key duty holders, common construction hazards and the importance of planning, communication and coordination in maintaining safe working environments.
